How accurate is the HomeScope cost estimate?
HomeScope returns a Low / Mid / High range based on current material and labor market data. It is a planning estimate — always get a licensed contractor's bid before committing to a renovation.
What rooms does HomeScope handle?
HomeScope works best for interior rooms: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms. It identifies surfaces, fixtures, and finishes likely to be replaced, then estimates material budgets per tier.
Does HomeScope replace a contractor's estimate?
No. HomeScope is a pre-planning tool so you can set a realistic budget before you start interviewing contractors. It is not a quote, a bid, or a licensed opinion.
Are the prices in my currency?
HomeScope currently quotes in USD, based on US material and labor averages. International markets are on the roadmap.
Is my room photo stored anywhere?
Photos are sent to the AI for analysis and discarded after the response is delivered. Your saved project list and budgets live only on your device.
Is there a daily usage limit?
Yes, to ensure service quality there is a daily limit of 50 estimates per device. The limit resets every 24 hours.
How do I cancel or refund a subscription?
Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, or contact Apple Support directly.
